AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE QUESTION
OF REZONING LOTS 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, AND 6 OF BLOCK 9, WEST PARK
ADDITION FROM DISTRICT NUMBER THREE (APARTFEET HOUSE DISTRICT)
TO DISTRICT NUMBER FOUR (FIRST BUSINESS DISTRICT) AND TO ZOIE
IN WOODLAND ESTATES ALL OF TRACT 7 AND THAT PORT ION OF TRACT
8 NOT ALREADY ZONED AS DISTRICT NUMBER ONE (FIRST DWELLING
HOUSE DISTRICT) .
BE Tr ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
College Station, Texas:
WHEREAS, the City Zoning Commission after preliminary
consideration and public hearing has recommended the rezoning
of certain areas of land hereinafter fully described, now
therefore
It is hereby ordered that a public hearing shall be
held in the City Hall at 8:00 p. m. on June 20, 1955 on the
questions of zoning or rezoning areas within the city limits
as follows:
1. To rezone or change the classification of Lots
1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, Block 9, West Park Addition from District
number three (Apartment House District) to District number
four (First Business District) and
2. To zone all of Tract 7 and that portion of Tract a
being in the Woodland Estates Addition as District number one
(First Dwelling House District).
Notice of said hearing shall be published in the official
city newspaper at least fifteen days prior to said date of said
public hearing.
Passed and approved this the 25th day of April, 1955.
