ORDINANCE NO. 195
AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING A PORTION aF TRACT 8, ALL OF TRACT 7, AND AN Ex'i'ENSION
OF FRANC 1E DRIVE OF WOODLAND ESTATES ADJOINING THE LIMITS CF THE CITY INTO
AND INC O? P ORAT ING THE SANE AS A PART OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS.
BE TT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of College Station,
Texas:
Section 1, Inasmuch as J. C. Culpepper and Robert L. Melcher, more
than 20 days ago, presented a written petition for the incorporating within
the city limits of that portion of Tract 8 which lies without the city limits,
all of Tract 7, and the extension of Francis Drive from the city limits to
the eastern boundary line of Tracts 7 and 8, Woodland Estates; and,
Section 2. Inasmuch as said J. C. Culpepper and Robert L. Melcher
have attached to the aforesaid petition an affidavit to the effect that they
are the sole owners of aforesaid portions or tracts, and that no qualified
voters reside therein;
Section 3. Now, therefore, the areas of. Woodland Estates described
in Section 1 above shall be and the same are hereby received into and
incorporated as a part of the City of College Station, Texas.
