STANDARD B & P
ORDINANCE NO. 190
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND EMPOWERING THE MAYOR TO BORROW CERTAIN
MONIES.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of College Station,
Texas:
Section 1. The Mayor of the City of College Station is hereby
authorized and empowered to borrow from the College Station State
Bank, or another lender, and in all things to bind the City to repay
same, an amount of money not to exceed the sum of •,000.00 at a
rate of interest not to exceed four per cent.
Section 2. The City of College Station requires the money to
pay past due obligations and the necessity of such payment creates
an emergency, and said emergency is hereby declared to exist.
Passed and approved this the 17th day of May, 1954.
