ORDINANCE NO. 189
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING TO THE SOUTHWESTERN STATES TELEPHONE COMPANY,
A CORPORATION, ITS SUCCESSORS AATD ASSIGNS, THE RIGHT, PRIVILEGE
AND PERKIN TO ESTABLISH MONTHLY RATES FOR LOCAL TFT,FPHONE SERVICE
IN THE cry OF COT,TJ GE STATION, TEXAS.
BE IN ORDAINED by the Council of the City of College Station,
Texas:
Section I. That the right, privilege and permit is granted to
THE SOUTHWESTERN STATES TELEPHONE COMPANY to put into effect the
following monthly rates:
Class of Service. Tune of Equipment
Handset Desk Mall
Business One Party 7.25 7.25 7.00
Business Two Party 5.50 5.50 5.25
Business Extension 1.25 1.25 1.00
Residence One Party 4.00 4.00 3.75
Residence Two Party .3.25 3.25 3.00
Residence Four Party 2.25 2.25 2.00
Residence Extension .75 .75 .50
Section II. The above rates shall become effective with the
May billing, 1954.
