ORDINANCE NO. 159
AN ORDINACE RECEIVING A CERTAIN DESCRIBED TRACT OF LAND ADJOINING THE LIMITS
OF THE CITY INTO AND INCORPORATING THE SAME AS A PART OF THE CITY OF COTTFGE
STATION, TEXAS.
Whereas a petition was ,presented on April /.3 , 1951, by J. C. Culpepper
and A. P. Boyett, the sole owners of a tract of land, vacant and unoccupied
contiguous and adjacent to the limits of the City of College Station,
said tract of land not exceeding one-half (j) mile in width, said petition
praying for the annexation of said tract of land into the corporate limits
of the City, and
Whereas a hearing on said petition after being duly advertised,
was held by the City -Council oh the 30th day of April, 1951,
Now therefore, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the C:_ty of
College Station, Texas,
that said tract of land shall be and the same hereby is received into
and incorporated as a part of the City of College Station, Texas,
said tract of land being more particularly described as follows, towit:
Beginning at the most Easterly corner of Block 8, Highland
Park Addition to tae City of Bryan, Texas
Thence North 45° East along Bryan present city limits, a
distance of 1350 feet more or less to a point in the East
right-of-way line of Texas State Highway #308.
Thence South 45° East along the East right-of-way line of State
Highway #308 which also is the West property line of the A & NI
College nursery plot, a distance of 600 feet to the present
College Station City limits
Thence South 45° West a distance of 140 feet more or less to the
West right-of-way line of Texas State Highway #308.
Thence South 45° East along the West right-of-way line of
State Highway #308, a distance of 850 feet moreor less.
Thence in a Southwesterly direction along the present city
limits line, a distance of 1170 feet more or less to the
West right-of-way line of Nagle Street.
Thence North 450 est along the West right-of-way line of
Nagle Street, a distance of 950 feet more or less to the

most easterly corner of Lot A of the, Tauber Addition to the
City of College Station, Texas
Thence North 42° 0611 West along the Northeast side of Lot A
a distance of 404.5 feet to the point of beginning.
