AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE ALL OF A STRIP OF LAND IN THE GORZYCKI ADDITION
115' X APPROXIMATELY 1,400' FROM DISTRICT NO. 2, SECOND DWELLING HOUSE
DISTRICT, TO DISTRICT NO. 5, SECOND BUSINESS DISTRICT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of College Station,
Texas:
WHEREAS, the City Council has held a public hearing in the City Hall
at 7:00 p.m., July 20, 1962, on the question of rezoning areas within the
city limits,
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has heard all parties pertaining there-
to and having the recommendation of the City Planning and Zoning Commission
has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of a 115' strip of land in the
Gorzycki Addition beginning at a point 175' NE of the intersection of FM 60
and Meadowland Street and paralleling Meadowland Street and extension there-
of in a NW direction for a distance of approximately 1,400' to the A. & M.
College property from District No. 2, Second Dwelling House District, to
District No. 5, Second Business District, and it is so ordained that said
change be effective immediately.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 20th day of July, 1962.
