ORDINANCE NO. 337
AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING CERTAIN TERRITORY ADJOINING THE LIMITS OF THE CITY INTO
AND INCORPORATING THE SAME AS A PART OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
Section 1. Inasmuch as W. D. Fitch acting in behalf of the Area Progress
Corporation, in compliance with Article 2, Section 6, City Charter, more than
20 days ago, presented a written petition for the incorporating within the city
limits the following described property:
Beginning at a point in the southwest line of the Frank A.
Dobrovolny 53 acre tract where the present City Limit line makes
a corner, being the east corner of the property recently annexed by
the City by Ordinance No. 324,
Thence southeast along the southwest line of the Dobrovolny
tract for a distance of 733.1 feet to the east corner of the Glade
subdivision, third installment,
Thence southwest for a distance of 340 feet to a corner,
Thence northwest for a distance of 733.1 feet to a corner being
in the present City Limit line,
Thence northeast for a distance of 340 feet to the place of
Beginning; and
Section 2. Inasmuch as said W. D. Fitch acting in behalf of the Area
Progress Corporation has attached to the aforesaid petition an affidavit to
the effect that it is sole owner of aforesaid tract, and that no qualified
voters reside therein;
Section 3. Now, therefore, the tract described in Section 1 above shall
be and the same is hereby received into and incorporated as a part of the
City of College Station, Texas.
