HomeMy WebLinkAbout1960-0303 - Ordinance - 08/22/1960ORDINANCE NO. 303 AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN AREAS WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS, FIXING TIME OF PUBLICATION AND PUBLIC HEARING. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of College Station, Texas: Section 1. Upon recommendation of the City Zoning Commission, the following described area is hereby changed from District No. 3 (Apartment House District) to District No. 4 (Business District)as defined in Ordinance No. 38. Being part of a one acre tract conveyed to Norton R. Burkhalter by I. P. Cooner, May 6, 1935, Volume 89, Page 45. Beginning at a point where the North line of said one acre tract intersects the East line of Ilighway No. 6; Thence, North 45 East along the North line of said one acre tract 150 feet and corner; Thence, South 45 East 70 feet and corner; Thence, South 45 West with the alley or street line now established 150 feet and corner on the West line of said one acre tract, and the East line of Highway No. 6; Thence, with said line 70 feet to the place of beginning, fronting 70 feet on Highway No. 6, and running back 150 feet. Section 2. That a public hearing shall be held in the City Hall at 7:00 p. m. November 28, 1960„ Section 3, That a notice of said hearing shall be published in the official city newspaper at least fifteen (15) days prior to the date of said public hearing.
