AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN ALLEY IN BLOCK 2 OF THE RIDGEFIELD ADDITION,
SECTION I.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the owner of all property abutting on the alley lying between
Lots 10 and 11, Block 2, of Ridgefield Addition, Section I in the City of
College Station, presented a petition praying for the vacation and abandon-
ment of such alley;
AND WHEREAS, the City Council finds that no necessity for such alley
exists at this time, and that the interest of the public would be served by
this ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, the above mentioned alley is hereby vacated and
abandoned as provided by law and title to same is vested in the owner of the
property bordering on such alley; it being the intention of said City to
vacate and abandon to said owner all of the alley in Block 2 of said Ridgefield
Addition, Section I which lies between Lots 10 and 11 in said Block.
