I wanted to THANK YOU for attending our last VIP meeting in Navasota. Your insight and information provided was very helpful to this planning process we have embarked upon. Bert Miller,
Mayor Hi, Larry (Stewart). The article by Violet Short about Texas A&M in your father's scrapbook is wonderful! If you had not been so history-minded and generous in sharing it, many
folks (me included) would never have the pleasure of such a good read. It's a real-life example of the importance of Project HOLD. Thank you! Susan Irza, HPC Susan, Thanks for your comment,
Mom will be very happy. My Father passed away in 2001, and we have been slow in disposal/realignment of a lot of things. When I saw the scrapbook, I knew it had to be scanned at Project
HOLD, cause there are things in that book that we only hear about today, not to mention no pictorial evidence being available. Dad would be proud. Larry (Stewart), Councilman Thank you
for your time and guidance today. You are truly a valuable resource to us! I am sure our archival process will be much better developed and organized thanks to your help. Thank you,
Anne. I am quite excited to get started! Linda Moon, Texas Forest Service
(Mayor White asked for research on Aggie softball teams during the 40s.) I appreciate you doing this very much. Mitt is a retired dentist I knew when I served as CEO of Texas Dental
Association. I had forgotten he was an old Ag. Thanks again, Ben White I can’t thank you enough. Good times! Ann Ganter, CSISD I really enjoyed going through the tables at the high school
last evening….I had a nice visit with Eddie Coulsen. He spoke at a retired teachers meeting last year and remembered meeting my mother. The old photos also reminded me of the many superintendents
that I had known personally: Bunting, Wilcox, Richardson, Riedel (Aggie classmate), Hopgood (?), and Burnett for starters. I also enjoyed Ray's bio of Sul Ross. I learned some new things
about him. He was a tougher man--and boy than I thought. James L. Boone, Jr. Anne, A nice article in the Eagle. You deserve every ounce of credit they gave you. Congratulations on many
years of good work. Lois Simpson Ann(e), great picture and write up in today's paper!!!! Danny Stribling, Carriage Inn What great coverage in today's paper of the CSISD 100 year anniversary!
It's just great. The picture is wonderful and showing all those memorabilia will pique people's interest to come to the reception tomorrow night and share their own stories. Project
HOLD scores again! Susan Irza, HPC The publicity of the A&M Consol centennial looks great. You've done a great job! Bill Lancaster .
