The Amphitheater --> The Wolf Pen Creek Amphitheater is the premier concert venue in the Brazos
Valley. Hosting more than 380 events in 19 seasons with 730,000+ guests, the facility boasts of quality
shows, beautiful grounds and down-home hospitality. Artists who have graced the stage include Tim
McGraw, Willie Nelson, Bo Diddley, Pat Green, Robert Earl Keen, Randy Rogers, Foghat, Aaron Watson
and more. Capable of hosting 7,500+ patrons, Wolf Pen Creek welcomes promoters and private renters
by offering a professional staff with reasonable rental rates!
The Green Room --> This 2,500 sq ft. facility features a balcony overlooking Wolf Pen Creek, space for
formal catering preparations, a full-size refrigerator and an ice machine. Rates range from $75 to $350.
The Plaza --> Appropriate for more intimate outdoor gatherings such as family reunions, birthday
parties and small concerts. The plaza accommodates up to 250 people. Rental includes a small pavilion,
the concessions patio area, six picnic tables and a restroom area. Rates range from $100 to $150.

Xtra Education is a leisure-learning program that offers over 220
exciting classes including Dance, Business, Arts & Crafts, Culinary
Arts, Music & Voice, Languages, Self-Improvement, Fitness,
Computers, Special Interest, Sports, Life Enhancement, Kid’s
Enrichment and more. Some topics are designed just for seniors,
while others are just for kids! Most classes are held in CSISD
facilities, and annual participation is about 3,000.
Course Information
Xtra Education classes generally meet at CSISD campus locations
and city park facilities. However, depending on the subject matter,
some specialty classes will meet in local establishments. Specific class locations are not posted with
the class listings in this catalog. Class sites and room numbers are furnished to each patron upon
registration for a specific class. This helps guarantee a quality program.
Supplies and Textbooks
We strive to keep the cost of our educational programs as low as possible and strive to ensure the
quality of programming offered to you. Your class receipt will include the specific information as to
what is needed before each class begins. Some arts & crafts classes will have a supply list per student.
Unless otherwise stated, supplies and textbooks are not included in the course fee. Some classes will
have an in-class fee, as noted in the course descriptions, to cover materials.

Xtra Education exercises great care when selecting instructors and class locations. Our class leaders and
instructors are both knowledgeable and competent. We make no guarantees, expressed or implied,
that classroom instruction will result in specific gain. We cannot be held responsible for any loss,
material or otherwise, incurred while following an instructor’s directions. Xtra Ed is not responsible
for any personal property left at any class site. Students take classes at their own risk. Neither Xtra
Education, City of College Station, CSISD, nor any of its agents is liable for any injury you may sustain
during your participation in our programs.

Canceled Classes
Xtra Education reserves the right to cancel classes, change times or locations, and substitute instructors
as deemed necessary by our director. Classes will be canceled the morning of the scheduled start date
if the minimum enrollment numbers are not met. Register early for classes.
Refunds and Transfers
Full refunds are available for classes that are canceled by Xtra Education due to low enrollment.
Customer-requested refunds must be submitted earlier than seven days prior to the class start date,
and a $10 processing fee will be charged. Fee refunds may take two weeks for processing and mailing.
You will NOT be eligible for a refund if you withdraw from a class within seven days prior to the
class start date. If you are unhappy with your selected class after completion, please write a letter
specifying your reasons for dissatisfaction. Requests in writing must be submitted within 14 days after
the class ends. Your input is important to us!

1. No campfires allowed without prior approval.

4. Pavilions may be used if they are not rented, however, no access will be allowed into kitchen or
restroom facilities.
5. Athletic Fields must be reserved separately from Pavilion Rentals. This must be done through the
Stephen C. Beachy Central Park office, 1000 Krenek Tap Road, 979.764.3486.
6. Dogs are to be kept under restraint at all times by means of a leash, except at Lick Creek Park
where the dog is required to be under ‘voice control’.
7. All wildlife in City Parks is protected.
8. It is unlawful to cut or destroy vegetation.
9. All vehicles must park in designated areas on pavement only.
10. It is unlawful to wade or swim in Park ponds.
11. All firearms, airguns, crossbows, and bows and arrows are prohibited.
12. It is unlawful to litter in City Parks.
13. Advertising in City Parks is prohibited.
14. Community park curfews are 1–5 a.m. Neighborhood park curfews are 11 p.m.–5 a.m.
15. Any person wishing to sell any items (food, drinks, shirts, caps, etc.) in a park must apply for a Park
Vendor’s Permit at the Parks and Recreation Office (979.764.3731) and possibly a Health Permit
from the Brazos County Health Department (979.361.4450).
16. No off-road vehicles are allowed in city parks.
17. Golfing or (practice) driving of golf balls in the parks is prohibited.
18. Please obey all “FIELDS CLOSED” signs.
19. Glass bottles and containers are prohibited.
20. Alcohol may be consumed in city parks by adults 21 years of age or older. If you have a function
where alcohol is served, neither the alcohol nor anything else can be sold without a TABC license.

Pavilions and dog parks are rated per day. Reservations are all-day and on a first-come, first-served basis.
Fees must be paid in full at the time of reservation. Deposits will be refunded if facilities are left clean
and free of damage at the end of the reservation period. Reservations canceled within seven days prior
to the rental date will incur a $20 cancellation fee.
