Joey,
This letter is to serve as notice that we have authorized Greg Taggart and Lee Adams of
MDG to sign on behalf of Dovetail Development, LLC, all applications required for
street abandonment, zoning, platting, and permitting approvals within the city of College
Station, TX.
What is commonly referred to as the Butler Tract is currently under contract by our firm
with the Butler family. Our contract allows for Dovetail Development to execute such
applications, affidavits, and other documents as necessary to obtain the necessary
approvals, zoning, and permits for our intended use. Should you need to speak with the
Butler's for verification, Allyson Butler can be reached at (979)696-1718.
The parcel located at the corner of Southwest Pkwy and Wellborn Rd, commonly referred
to as the Hill or Schick tract, has been under our ownership since August 10, 2005.
If any further clarification is required from our office, please contact me at (706)338-
7919.
Thank you,
Bob Landers

Subject: Christine Lane Abandonment
I just spoke to Allison Butler about the Christine Lane abandonment. Currently, the Butler family still owns
the Butler tract(that is bounded on the north side by Christine Lane). They are planning to close on this
property with Dovetail Development sometime in September. Based on the tracking sheet, the
abandonment is planned to go to council on October 24th. As long as the two parties close on the property
prior to this date, everything is fine.
Ms. Butler's concern is that if the deal with Dovetail Development does not close, she does not want the
abandonment to take place. I'm not sure exactly what is required for an abandonment application, but I
would think that if the property owner is not in favor of the abandonment, that would be a pretty big strike
against it(if it is even possible for it to be considered).
As much as anything, I wanted to let you know about this, but if you have any insight, please let me know.
Thanks,
Ken
