*** PROVIDE MINIMUM 42" CLEARANCE FROM CENTERLINE OF WATER
CLOSET TO EDGE OF LAVATORY, WALL, OR OTHER OBJECT TO COMPLY
WITH ICC/ANSI A117.1, ACCESSIBLE STANDARDS. CENTERLINE OF
WATER CLOSET SHALL BE 18" FROM SIDE WALL. PROVIDE MINIMUM
60" WIDE X 56" DEEP CLEARANCE FOR ACCESSIBLE WATER CLOSET
AND ALSO A 60" TURNING DIAMETER CIRCLE CLEARANCE.
*** HANDRAILS SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 1012 OF THE 2012
IBC. HANDRAIL HEIGHT SHALL BE MOUNTED BETWEEN 34"-38" ABOVE
STAIR TREAD NOSINGS AND FINISH RAMP WALKING SURFACE. PROVIDE
HANDRAILS ON BOTH SIDES AND HANDRAIL EXTENSIONS AT THE TOP &
BOTTOM OF EACH FLIGHT OF STAIRS OR RAMPS.
*** PROVIDE PROTECTION FOR EXIT DOORS & REQUIRED EGRESS
PATH, STRUCTURES, DUMPSTER ENCLOSURES, MECHANICAL, PLUMBING,
AND ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT FROM IMPACT OR BLOCKED BY
AUTOMOBILES.

INSIDE WITHOUT THE USE OF KEY, TOOL, OR SPECIAL

THUMB -LATCH REQUIRE STATEMENT "DOOR MUST REMAIN UNLOCKED
WHEN BUILDING IS OCCUPIED" ON THE DOOR WITH 1 INCH LETTERS.
