PLANNING
1. Please submit sheet LS.2.
2. Will all plant areas not described as a raised planter be at grade?
3. Will the elms separated by tables on Second Street be in raised brick
planters or in grates?
4. Payment for the tables on Second Street is undetermined at this time.
5. Please note: Signage will need to be approved by the NRB. Signage may
be considered at the same time as the landscape plan if a complete
proposal is submitted to the Development Services office by 10 a.m.

NOTE: Any changes made to the plans, that have not been requested by the
City of College Station, must be explained in your next transmittal letter and
"bubbled" on your plans. Any additional changes on these plans that have not
been pointed out to the City will constitute a completely new review.

1. Combine garage entrances/exits to create one curb cut opposite Louise.
2. Show throat length of garage entryway measured from the point when
vehicles will have to stop. There is a 2-car queue minimum.
3. What type of control will be used for driveway entry, if any (e.g., automatic
ticket dispenser)?
4. Provide for 2 exiting lanes, if possible.
5. What is the purpose of the curb cut on Second St.?
6. Wheelstops in'the garage need to be removed.
7. Guardrails indicated to be on page C3 are not shown.
8. Security fence and gate details need to be shown (swing path and design
specs with colors).
9. Fire department connections must be shown if the building is sprinkled.
10. The total number of multi-family buildings and units to be constructed and the
density of dwelling units per acre must be stated on the site plan.
11. Meters, transformers, and fire hydrants need to be shown on landscape plan.
12. The symbol for trash receptacles is too similar to that for landscaping.
Please distinguish more clearly between the trash receptacles and plant
material.

Staff reviewed the above-mentioned landscape plan as requested. The following page is a list
of staff review comments detailing items that need to be addressed. Please address the
comments and submit the following information by Tuesday, 10 a.m. to be scheduled on the
February 7, 2001, NRB meeting:
Eight (8) revised landscaping plans
If there are comments that you are not addressing with the revised site plan, please attach a

These previously submitted staff review comments resulted from the recent NRB meeting held
on February 7, 2001. Please address the comments and submit the following information for
further staff review and plan approval and distribution:
Five (5) revised site and landscaping plans (please submit additional plans if you
would like some for your records)
If there are comments that you are not addressing with the revised site plan, please attach a
letter explaining the details. If you have any questions or need additional information, please

No new plan was submitted, but these notes are provided as a reminder of the
items discussed at the February 7, 2001 NRB meeting:
1. Please clarify on the plans that all retaining walls will be brick.
2. Please identify all sidewalks to be stamped, dyed concrete.
3. Please clarify that the bands across Second Street will be brick pavers.
4. Please note that the tables and light standards will be installed by the City in
conjunction with the Second Street Promenade.
