Luckily, I've met some interviewees who gave me much information and would not need so much info I requested you before. I would need answers only on these two questions; 1.When South Knoll elementary moved to its current location from this original location(1200 George bush Dr./Barbara Bush Center)? 2. What are the names of schools/organization occupied this building after the move? Records between 70s-1996 will be extremely helpful. (This info might be found on the renovation records on this building) FYI, it had been used as A&M consol elementary, then was replaced as South Knoll elementary in 1967,and Barbara Bush opened in 1997. I would really appreciate if you could give me answers today, and that'll really help me in proceeding further research. Thank you so much again for your help and I am looking forward to hearing from you. -Sincerely, Donghee Son Ph.D.Student, ESL Education Dept.of Teaching, Learning, and Culture College of Education,Texas A&M University Cell) 979-422 -7530 1 Kristen Hejny From: Kristen Hejny Sent: Thursday, April 10, 2014 7:54 AM To: 'Son, Donghee' Subject: RE: Project on CSISD school That information is not available for this address on their website. I will not be able to tell you who occupied buildings during specific periods of time, the Brazos County Appraisal District may contain that information. Our records don't go back far enough for me to see when the new South Knoll Elementary was built at 1220 Boswell Ct. I got your contact information this morning from Mr.Jared Donnelly who is working in City of CS Heritage Programs. I am conducting a project on the "building" of Barbara Bush Parent Center(1200 George Bush Dr.). I found the building was built in 1952 as A&M consolidated elementary school, and Barbara center was opened in 1997. I would like to know how the usage of this building has changed throughout the history. (owner, occupancy, organization,teacher/student info, grade, photos, virtually any type of info will do.) From Projec Hold website, I found the picture of A&M consol elementary until 1969, but the records stop there, and nobody knows how the building had been used during 19691997, thus info on these period will be especially helpful. For your information, I attached the project description. If you have any question please feel free to contact me either by email or call. Thank you and I'm looking forward to hearing from you! -Sincerely, Donghee Son Ph.D. Student, ESL Education Dept. of Teaching, Learning, and Culture College of Education,Texas A&M University Cell) 979 -422 -7530 1
