ATTACHMEMENT - Variance request reasons/decription.
The reasons for requesting a variance regarding minimum lot widths are:
The attempt to avoid the unnecessary destruction of very old trees by
limiting the road length. This forces us to put 4 lots into the cul-de-
sac, they still have 70'+ length. Due to septic system requirements we
cannot go below the 1-acre lot minimum, this forces certain geometric
issues and avoids waste of land acreage. Several subdivisions (recent
ones) have lot widths considerably less that 100' located in ETJ/city
limits.
