Box 9960 — 1101 Texas Avenue — College Station, Texas 77842 COLLEGE STATION (979) 764-3570 WOLF PEN CREEK DESIGN REVIEW BOARD MEETING Friday,March 14, 2003 Design Review Board Alan King,DRB Member Phillip Kelby,DRB Member George McLean,DRB Member Phillip Tabb,DRB Member Craig Hall,P&Z Commissioner Carolyn Williams,P&Z Commissioner Staff Attending: Kelly Templin, Director of Development Services Natalie Ruiz,Development Review Manager Molly Hitchcock, Staff Planner Jennifer Flanery,Staff Planner Tammy Macik,Secretary SUBJECT: City-Initiated Rezoning: Discussion and possible action on a recommendation to the Planning and Zoning Commission to initiate a rezoning ofLot 1 and a portion ofLot 2,Block 3 of Poohs Park Subdivision from WPC Wolf Pen Creek Development Corridor to C-1 General Commercial(03-60) A Wolf Pen Creek Design Review Board meeting was held on Thursday,March 6, 2003 to review the above-mentioned project. Staff Planner Hitchcock began by stating that the WPC zoning line runs through the middle of Jot 59 Cleaners and with the rezonings that have happened over time,there is a small area that remains zoned WPC Development Corridor. DRB Member McLean made the motion to recommend the Planning and Zoning Commission initiate a rezoning from WPC to C-1 General Commercial. DRB Member Kelby seconded and the motion passed (6-0). Development Review Manager Ruiz stated that the recommendation would be brought before the Planning and Zoning Commission where staff will get direction from the Commission before going through the notification process.
