" . • CITY OF COLLEGE STATION PLANNING DIVISION POST OFFICE BOX 9960 1101 TEXAS AVENUE COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS 77842-9960 January 30, 2002 Asghar Zardkoohi 2417 Faulkner College Station, Texas 77840 (409) 764 -3570 RE: City sanitary sewer service; Line "J" Extension Dear Mr. Zardkoohi, This morning you called and asked me to clarify the City's position as to the City fees that will be required for connecting to the City's sanitary sewer system in Foxfire Subdivision by extension of Line "J". Normally the City requires a $200 application fee, a $200 development permit fee, a $600 public infrastructure plan review and inspection fee and a $350 tap fee . The City is willing to waive all of these fees with the exception of the $350 tap fee . Earlier I had informed you that the City would handle the bore under Faulkner and charge $15 per foot for this work. It is your option to have your contractor do this work in lieu of the City doing the bore. Hopefully this addresses your request. If you need clarification, please call me at 979-764-3763. Sincerely, ~Zl.4~~ Teddy D . Mayo , P .E . Asst. City Engineer CC: Raybon Metcalf, P.E. Municipal Development Group Natalie Ruiz Development Review Manager l!ed ¥~YP-~417 FAULKNER : . . . From: To: Date: Subject: Joe Garcia Gayla Messarra 1/30/02 3:12PM 2417 FAULKNER I spoke with Rabon, with MDG today concerning sewer service for 2417 Faulkner. He informed me that the property owner is paying to extend the sewer main some 200 + ft ., and boring the street to provide service for his property . He also said that the owner was paying the contractor to tie the 4" service coming across the street to his house service line . Upon discussing this with Edwin Savage, (WI WW Superintendant ) we have agreed to wave the nornal $350 .00 tap fee with the following conditions: The owner must install a cleanout at the property line that the city can access in case of a sewer stoppage , and that we (WI WW Division personnel) be allowed to inspect the tie in before it is backfilled .
