Box 9960 College Station, TX 77842 Re: Modular Accoun~ing Building at College Station Medical Center Dear Ms. Ruiz: REVIEWED FOR COMPLIAN E JUL 2 3 19 COLLEGE~IAfl ENGINEERING We have reviewed the engineering reports submitted by James C Alvis, P.E., submitted in November 1985 and February 1996 on the drainage calculation for the College Station Medical Center. We have also reviewed the engineering report submitted by A.J. Ghaddar, P.E., submitted in August 1986 on the Medical Office Building addition to the College Station Medical Center. Data from these three reports indicates on existing impervious area of 11. 78 acres currently controlled by detention facilities on this site. The proposed modular building addition will add 0.0812 acres (3535 sq. ft.) of impervious area to the site and will represent less than a 1 % increase (0.0069) to the overall impervious area. There is a stated overcapacity in the current detention facility and the additional runoff created by this proposed construction is within that capacity as well as normal variations in choice of utilized coefficients in the Rational Formula Method of runoff calculations. Also it is noted that there are no floodplain zones indicated on this site on the F .E .M.A.F .I.R.M. dated 1992. The planned plumbing fixtures in the proposed building would create a demand of 4 g.p.m. for water and a sanitary sewer capacity of 300 gallons per day with a peak flow rate of 900 gallons c.01-33(2989) ~ .. - per day .
