SITE ADDRESS: Balcones and Welsh The Contractor shall take all necessary precautions to prevent silt and debris from leaving the immediate construction site in accordance with the approved erosion control plan as well as the City of College Station Drainage Policy and Design Criteria. The Owner and/or Contractor shall assure that all disturbed areas are sodden and establishment of vegetation occurs prior to removal of any silt fencing or hay bales used for temporary erosion control. The Owner and/or Contractor shall also insure that any disturbed vegetation be returned to its original condition, placement and state . The Owner and/or Contractor shall be responsible for any damage to adjacent properties, city streets or infrastructure due to heavy machinery and/or equipment as well as erosion, siltation or sedimentation resulting from the pennitted work. Any trees required to be protected by ordinance or as part of the landscape plan must be completely fenced before any operations of this pennit can begin . In accordance with Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of College Station, measures shall be taken to insure that debris from construction, erosion, and sedimentation shall not be deposited in city streets, or existing drainage facilities. I hereby grant this pennit for development of an area inside the special flood hazard area . Does that make sense? I can show you on the site plan for the building on lot B-3. They had to provide the fire lane and somewhere the garbage trucks could manuever. >>>Paul Kaspar 03/12/98 03:34PM >>> After doing the research, which you were there for, I think we only need him to submit a drawing showing erosion control measures, pay the $100 fee and provide us with a new application. We will make a new file and reference the previous DP files that have the drainage report. I think this will be the best way to proceed. Question? Is he going to submit plans for the parking areas that will serve those new apartments? Or has the parking already been constructed?? >>> Shirley Volk 03110/98 01:30PM >>> Paul, Jim needs to know how to renew his dp for the apartments on Balcones (at Welsh). He had the original issued in 1994, and a renewal issued in 1996. Both times he was building apartments. Now he wants to build some more apartments on one or more of the remaining lots along there (the "b" lots). I think the entire area (the 'c" lots and the "b" lots) were included in the grading and drainage plans, but I can't swear to this without pulling the old file. It will probably be easier for you to check the dp file than for me to find the planning file! It will probably be under "balcones apts" or SWV 30 (I think) If you would call him with the info -or tell me the answers and I will call him, it would be great.
