"Jed" Walker, Jr., P .E. Date: April 26, 1999 Re: Fairfield Residential-University Drive Site (Gateway) Project No.: 9794 8225 Central Park Dri ve, Suite I 00 P.O. Box 22007 Waco, Texas 76702-2007 (254) 772-9272 FAX (254) 776-2924 Veronica, attached is our proposed plan to prepare a tree and topographic survey of the 25.5-acre site within the Gateway Development. We plan to selectively clear 15-foot swaths at 100-foot intervals so that we can survey the property. No motorized equipment will be used .. _only axes, chainsaws, and walk- behind mowers. We do not plan to remove any trees greater than 6 inches in diameter; however,-on a site such as this it might be necessary to remove such a tree if it is preventing an adequate line of sight for the survey. Since we are not clearing the site, we presume that a clearing permit is not needed . Ifwe are wrong in our assessment please notify me at once because the survey operation is scheduled to begin Wednesday, April 28 , 1999 . Thanks again for all of your help.
