Alvis, P .E., in November 1985 and February 1996 on the drainage calculations for the Co ll ege Station Medical Center. We have also reviewed the engineering report s ubmi tted by A.J. Ghaddar, P.E., in August 1986 on the Medical Office Building addition to the Co ll ege Station Me dical Center . Data from these reports and the addit ion al construction of3535 sq. feet of building in July of 1998 indicates an existing imp ervious area of 11.8612 acres currently controlled by detention faci liti es on this site. The proposed cath building addition w ill add 0 .0229 acres (1000 sq. feet) of impervious area to the site and will represent le ss than a 1% increase (0.0 019) to the overall impervious area . There is a stated overcapacity in the current detention facility and the additional runoff created by this proposed constructio n is w ithin that capacity as well as normal variations in choice of utilized coefficients in the rational formu la method of runoff calcu lations. Also it is noted that there are no flood plain zone indicated on the F.E.M.A.F.I.R.M . dated 1992. T here are no planned plumbing fixtures in the proposed building. Si ncerel y, ~-~~- North B .
