L ~ • McCLURE ENGINEERING, INC.---------..... March 10 , 2000 Mr. Jeff Tondre, P.E. Civil Engineer City of College Station P.O. Box 9960 College Station, Texas 77842 Re: Addendum to Drainage Report for the Business Center at College Station Phase Two and Three , November 1999 Dear Jeff: The original study made assumptions about the street configuration. This included looping Technology Way. The most current information we now have is that Technology Way will end with a cul-de-sac at the end of the Stata Corporation's property and that storm water from Lakeway Drive will be conveyed to the existing stream by an earthen channel. Future development , like Destia, will construct a storm drain system that will connect to the storm drain system along Lakeway Drive. I am sending revised Exhibits B, C-lA, C-lB, C-2 , and C-3 based on the latest street configuration. These should be added to the existing report dated November 1999 and approved on November 22 , 1999. The original exhibits should be retained since they include design information for Phase 2. Please note that the drainage areas along Lakeway Drive did not change compared to the original report. If you need additional information or have any questions , please do not hesitate to call. Sincerely, Steven C. Franks, P .E. Box 9960 College Station, TX 77842-9960 RE: Requested F EMA Data The Business Center at College Station Dear Paul: Thank you for forwarding to me this most recent package of data from FEMA. As you will recall, in September we received the initial package of data, but noted that it was information on the Alum Creek Tributary instead of the AC-1 tributary. The new data that we have received is for the Main channel of Carters Creek. If the data can not be found, could this tributary be removed from the FEMA maps and be regulated by the College Station Storm Water Management Ordinance? Per our conversation I spoke with Tony Tomcheson of the Wallace Group in Waco with respect to the work we have done. I will furnish him the applicable information. During our conversation, he mentioned that if a map revision will not benefit his client, his instructions are to not pursue the revision. This was not my understanding of the agreement and might be worth your investigation. Very truly yours, xc: Steve Homeyer Veronica Morgan, P.E.
