This permit is valid for site construction as shown on the approved site plans.
The Contractor shall take all necessary precautions to prevent silt and debris from leaving the immediate
construction site in accordance with the approved erosion control plan as well as the City of College
Station Drainage Policy and Design Criteria. The Owner and/or Contractor shall assure that all disturbed
areas are sodden and establishment of vegetation occurs prior to removal of any silt fencing or hay bales
used for temporary erosion control. The Owner and/or Contractor shall also insure that any disturbed
vegetation be returned to its original condition, placement and state. The Owner and/or Contractor shall
be responsible for any damage to adjacent properties, city streets or infrastructure due to heavy machinery
and/or equipment as well as erosion, siltation or sedimentation resulting from the permitted work.
Any trees required to be protected by ordinance or as part of the landscape plan must be completely fenced
before any operations of this permit can begin.
In accordance with Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of College Station, measures shall be
taken to insure that debris from construction, erosion, and sedimentation shall not be deposited in city
streets, or existing drainage facilities.
I hereby grant this permit for development of an area outside the special flood hazard area. All
development shall be in accordance with the plans and specifications submitted to and approved by the
City Engineer in the development permit application for the abov e named project and all of the codes and

Dear Mr. Kasper:
Pursuant to our telephone conversation yesterday, it is my understanding that a Notice
of Intent (NOi) for Storm Water Discharge Associated with Industrial Activity Under a
NPDES General Permit will not be required for the aforementioned project if it is
determined that the gross area to be disturbed is below 5 . 0 acres . We have calculated the
square footage of the areas to be disturbed and have determined that in fact the total area
is well below 5.0 acres. Consequently, we would respectfulJy request that you waive the
NOI requirement as a condition precedent to issuance of a Site Development Permit. The
square footage of areas to be disturbed are as follows :
Building Pads : 17,236 s .f
Paving/Driveway/Parking: 27 ,000 s.f.
Sidewalks: 8,490 s.f
Misc . Pads: 6,644 s.f.
Demolition/Removals : 45 , 180 s.f
Play Areas : 6,000 s.f
Contingency for error: 30,000 s.f
Total : 140,550 or 3 .2 acres

computed the net increase in impervious improvements that will effect the drainage for the
referenced project.
The net increase is approximately 33,000 square feet. We feel that the increase in run off is so
insignificant that no downstream impact will be created .
