Re: Impacts of adding additional paved areas at Jefferson Ridge Apartments
Dear Shirley:
At the request of Jim Mansfield, we have analyzed the effect of adding 1626 square feet of
paving to drainage area I and 5099 ~uare feet of paving to drainage area TI of Jefferson Ridge
Apartments . Drainage area I has 18,861 cugic feet of detention volume available and drainage
area II has available detention capacity of .!!'9,617 cubic feet.
As illustrated on the attached sheets, which reflect conditions after adding the additional
paving, drainage area Twill require 17, 405 cubic feet of storage and ~e ar~ will need
45 ,740 cubic feet. (Before the additional paving, these figures were {7,214 &.nd 44,991 cubic
feet, respectively.) Both drainage areas still have a surplus of detention capacity, so adding the
new paving has no significant effect on drainage.
Sincerely,
