CITY OF COLLEGE STATION POST OFFICE BOX 9960 11 01 TEXAS AVENUE COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS 77840 February 10, 1977 MEMORANDUM TO: Zoning Board of Adjus tment FROM: Building Official ~:IP SUBJECT: Meeting of February 1 5 , 1977 1. The only item on this agenda is a question of inter- pretation of the Zoning Map with regard to the Gene Boriskie 6 acre tract as shown on the attached print. 2. The land was annexed in 1969 as a part of a 625 acre annexation all of which was annexed as Single Family Residential District. The surrounding t rac t s were rezoned by separate ordinances and the ordinance numbers rezoning the adjacent trac ts are shown. A search of the ordinances has not discov ered any ordinance effecting the 6 acre tract in question. 3, The opinion of the present City Planner and my opiruon as the former City Planner is that a drafting error was made when the "R-1" designation was erased from an adjacent tract as its zoning was changed and the "R-1 11 was not replaced in that part of the map which remained unchanged. We have not contacted Mr. George Eby, my predecessor as City Planner, for his opinion. 4, This appears to be a relatively simple procedural matter of correcting a drafting error, but it is one which is reserved to the Board. A copy of the applicable sections of the ordinance is attached. We have not published or mailed any notice to adjoiners other than posting the agenda as required by the open mee tings law. t -' CITY OF COLLEGE STATION POST OFFICE BOX 9960 11 01 TEXAS AVENUE COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS 77840 February 10, 1977 MEMORANDUM TO: Zoning Board of Adjustment FROM: Building Official )/1fP SUBJECT: Meeting of February 15, 1977 1.
