REQUEST FOR VARIANCE

Section of ordinanc e f r om which variance is s ought __ _.::;8_-=D-=-. _?,,__ ________ _
Th e f ollowi_ng speci f ic var i ation fr om the ordinance i s requested : To reco~§truct
a detached sjgn on a separat.e tract of land ,
Th~s variance i s nece ssary due to the following unique and special conditions .
of the land not found in like districts :
Oak Forest is located off Krenek Tap Road wh i ch is not a majo r st.reet a :i:;i.a therei'ore......
a sign locating the Park ha s been used at the corner of Jfuy . 6 and Krenek Tap Road
since 19 69.
The following alternatives to t h e requested variance are possible: Conwlete
removal of .the sign would cause serious fina ncial loss due to the unfamiliarity of'
Krenek Tap Ro a d to the Park. An alternative is to replace the old sign which is
deteriorating, whcih would not seem to be as logical as replacing the old one with a nother
of the same size. .
This variance will not be contrary to the public interest by virtue of the fol lowing
and the Park , especially at ni~ht. Thi s provides a hardsh i p fo r the 167 f ain i lies which
reside in the Park.
The facts stated by me in this application are true and correct.
