The variance requested and granted was for ten (10) parking spaces. Mr. Camp owns the building and has recently been informed by Mr. Callihan (the applicant for Centex) that the Subway will not be locating in Northgate. Mr. Camp asked the staff if the variance granted was to the applicant or to the building. The decision is that the variance, with any and all conditions, applies to the building for the use proposed (in this case a restaurant). Therefore, another individual with a restaurant requiring ten (10) parking spaces could occupy the building until the conditional one year is ended.
