(!) In order for the Board to consider a case, there must be on file
with the Zoning Official a completed application.
(2) The coffiplete applicatior. must be received by the Zoning Official
no later than noon on the Friday preceeding t:i e p u blication date.
(3) Fees: There is an application fee r equ ired of $10.00 for each
applica c ion plus $2.00 for every properLy c ~7..2 r within 200'. Th ~s fee
must be paid at the Tax Office and a n:!ceipt tu rned iD-with the
application to the Zoning Off ic .Lal. This fee covers notification cos ts
and is subject to change as rates increase.
(4) The gpplicant must be present at the ~eeting of the Zcning Board
of Adjustmen t meeting for the appfication to be co nsid ered .
(5) There ~dll lie no item placed on the 3oard agenda nor any notice
published u :-.til all of the materi<:.ls mention e d ahove are complete and in

(a) Must be typ~ by the applicant.
{b) Owners within 200 feet may be der:ermined by the Tax Office.
Ow;lers who se property in any part falls within th2 200 foot
distance should be listed. Measurement starts from the
property line of the lot or tract in question, or, if th e
tract is bounded by a street, fro~ the opposite side of ~he
street.
(c) The names and addresses must b2 as they appear on the City
tax rolls, 2ven if they are wro ng or out of d::it 2.
(d) Additional notices will be s en t to any corrected address the
applicant supplies, when he feel s there is an error with the
tax rolls.

the tract, identifying the sect i0n of the orJinance and
specifying the variation.
(b) The remaining s e ctions address t:-iE:rr.s e lves to the three f inJings
that th e Bo a rd must mak e in ord e r to grant a use permit. If
the Board cannot agree with sny one of thes e , they will not
be able to grant the use p e rmit.
(c) If you cannot fully explain your reque st by the questions asked
on the for m, a letter will b e r equ ire~, e x plaining the full
implications of the request. T~e application will not be con-
sidered completed until this let t er is submitted.
(7) Th e appl i ca t ion must be reviewe d by the Zoning Official before i t
can b e con sidered completed and filed. Notice will be given to the applicant
as to this consideration.
(8) It is the responsibility of the applicant to complete all phases of
the ap p lication filing and to check to be sure his application is considered
complete by the Zoning Official.
(9) The applicant will be notified as to the date the application will
be considered by certified mail. There will be no other reminders of the
meeting , other than when the applicant phones the office.
(10) Notice of the hearing will be published on the Wednesday preceeding
the meeting and will be mailed by the office of the Zoning Official to the
owners within 200 feet and the applicant. The complete application must be
received by noon on the Friday preceeding the date of publication in order
for us to meet the publisher's deadline.
(11) Should any person desire to appeal a decision of the Board, he should
so state after the conclusion of the hearing. The chairman will complete his
statement of finding s which will constitute filing of the decision. Minutes
of the meeting, subject to approval of the Board, will be prepared by the
close of business on the following day. A duplicate tap e of the proc e edings
will b e made available to the appellant's attorney upon request and upon
receipt of compensation for the 120 minute cassettes used for the duplication.
No transc r ipt is ma d e of the hearings. Minutes of t h e pro ceedings a r e p a r a -
phra sed as appropria te, in the judgement of the recorder, to reflect point s
of the discussion pertinent to the decisions rendered.
