Kee, Zoning Official SUBJECT: Agenda Items--October 20, 1981 The applicant is requesting a variance to the side set back and to expand a non-conforming structure. The non-conformity involves the side setback. The existing garage is 5 feet from the side pro~erty line, however the structure was built in 1970, prior to Ordinance 850, and was in compliance with all City codes at that time. The carport will increase the structure by 340 SF and will also encroach the side setback. The room addition will increase the structure by 252 SF. The garage will be attached to the house by a covered walkway (see attached site plan).
