They had their name under the Uniroyal sign. In order to have my name below the Uniroyal sign I have to put up a new sign. Talked to the last man in charge of building permits and he said. it would be ok as long as we were just changing out a sign and not adding a sign. So I spent $1500 on a sign. When we got it in they told me they couldn't let me put it up. So I am stuck with a sign and unable to let people know that this is an independent business and not a chain operation anymore. Not having my name out is hurting my business. The following alternatives to the requested variance are possible:_N_O_N_E _____ _ This vari a..ri.c e will n ot be contrary t o the public interest by virtue of the followi.ng f acts : We are not adding a sign.
