Adjustment for the following reasons:
1) Nothing shown in your application to the Board expresses
any unique or special condition of the land whatsoever.
2) You have nowhere, where I can discern, shown any element
of hardship sufficient to justify the City's setting aside
of regulations designed to assure reasonable light, air and
open space within residential districts.

The following specific variation from the ordinance is r equested~ --~-et _Qpck _~-~-
variance. Proposed construction of carport would exceed set-back
requirements at :the front of my property.
This variance is necessary due to the following unique and special conditions of
the land not found in like districts:
I have purchased a 26-ft boat which needs the protection of
a carport to prevent deterioration due to exposure to the
elements.
The following alternatives to the requested variance are possible:
None other than length of carport could be reduced by 2 foot.
This variance will not be contrary to the public interest by virtue of the following
f~cts: This carport will be erected 12 foot from driveway
surface which will not impair vision. It will he constrllcted
of materials to be compatible with surro1mding strnct11res.
