We are not soliciting other proposals for this work and will not, so long as we are negotiating with Urban Design Group for this work. We are therefore requesting your proposal include a fee schedule and estimate for the completed work. The project cons ists of a collector street generally along the alignment of an existing 30' wide easement connecting SH 6 to the City's Carter Creek Waste Water Treatment Plant. The project limits are from SH 6 to Emerald Forest subdivis ion extending as w ide as is necessary to contain permanent infrastructure and provide reasonable space for construction. The following elements are to be included : • Curb and gutter pavement with storm drainage . Pavement shall be designed in consideration of projected traffic loads and the native soils' ability to carry the load . It shall have at least a twenty year design life. Sidewalks on both sides of the street. • Street lighting along the north side . • Pavement markings and signs . A water line to connect a water line in SH 6 with Emerald Forest Subdivision Phase 10. Consultant to recommend size. • Underground electrical along south side . Provide space only Lone Star Gas line. Provide space only • TCA Cable. We w ill expect your company to identify all easements necessary to construct and maintain the facilities . The successfully completed project will provide: legal descriptions complete with current ownership and drawings of all permanent and any temporary Right of Ways and easements ; alternative designs of pavement structure and geometry, pavement markings, drainage solutions , street lighting, sidewalk location and materials , and streetscaping ; cost estimates for each alternative and a summary tabulation ; and, an evaluation and recommendation of the alternat ives considering quality of life and life cycle cost benefits . We wish to complete this project(preliminary design) before July 1. Please tell us if your company can commit to that target. Also, tell us how we may benefit if we choose to delay the completion schedule.
