Dear Ms. Morgan:

It is CIC' s intent to clean out and increase the size of the retention pond on our property at
200 Greens Prairie Road and to remove the existing outlet structure. Regarding the
application for a drainage and development permit, our goal is to improve the unsightly
landscaping and drainage problem in front of our building by installing a new system at the
same elevation in a new location , not changing the original function of the retention pond.
We are optimistic that this will create a more pleasant view from Greens Prairie Road and
from our side as well. It will definitely allow for better landscaping and maintenance.
In our prior conversation , it was mentioned that the city would like to see some
improvement as well. I hope this plan will accomplish both our goals--better aesthetics for
CIC, as well as addressing concerns expressed by your department.
Sincerely,
Ronnie Vaughn
