As discussed yesterday, College Station Utilities is agreeable to a access agreement on a joint use driveway. There are a couple of items that I brought up that we would like to be sure are in the agreement. The access easement should meet all UDO requirements for a commercial driveway. College Station Utilities would like the easement access to extend to the rear property line of the Baker Hughs tract. The access agreement should be contingent upon TxDot requirements. At the present College Station Utilities does not access the property through the driveway in place. Until the land is utilized by CSU we feel we should not be subject to maintenance costs. However when and if this tract is utilized by CSU or the City I feel we should be proportionally responsible for maintenance or construction costs. Hope this fully covers our discussion and hope this helps the situation for the Baker Hughs tract. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. If you would like me to attend your meeting I would be happy to do so.
