According to our records, the closest public sanitary sewer line is beyond the distance required for connection by ordinance, at this time. City ordinance states, "Owners of buildings coming within the terms of this subsection and located on acreage tracts shall be required to install a water closet or water closets and connect same to the sewer if the said building at its nearest point is within two hundred fifty feet (250') from the sewer." Since this site falls outside the maximum distance for connection, it will not be required to tie -into the public sewer system at this time and an OSSF is permissible.
