Dear Mr. Walsh,

vacant lease space located at 1605 Rock)Prairie Road, Suite'3164n Co)lege'Station, Texas. The
survey was to identify possible asbestos containing materials used in the space and assess those
which may become friable during building renovation. This survey was performed by W. Joseph
Loftin (DSHS Consultant # 10-5140) on September 10, 2007.
The space was visually inspected to identify suspect asbestos containing materials. Suspect
materials identified and sampled included wallboard joint compound, floor tile and associated
rrZastic and ceiling tile. ,Representative samples of these materials were collected and submitted
to LOFLIN's Houston laboratory (NVLAP #2044, DSHS Lab # 30-0031). Samples were analyzed
using Polarized Light Microscopy coupled with dispersion staining in accordance with the US EPA
"Method for the Determination of Asbestos in Bulk Samples" (EPA 600/R-93/116, July 1993).
Based upon laboratory analysis, the. ;sampled materials .were not determined to be asbestos
containing. This survey was conducte"din general accordance with tie Texas Asbestos Health
Protection Rules (TAHPR) and the National Emission ;Standards" for;'Hazardous Air Pollutants
(NESHAP) for the areas being renovated and/or demolished.
