The plan review is based on the 2003 International Codes, the 2002 National Electrical Code and our local amendments. Where appropriate, I have included the applicable code sections. 1. Submit energy code compliance report for lighting, mechanical equipment and building envelope in compliance with 2003 International Energy Conservation Code. 2. Provide a landing at all exit doors. 3. Provide front door with egress statement to read, "THIS DOOR TO REMAIN UNLOCKED WHEN BUILDING IS OCCUPIED," to comply with section 1008.1.8.3 of the 2003 International Building Code. 4. Verify on electrical plans that the main service disconnect is to be located on the outside of the building to comply with the City of College Station electrical code amendment. 5. Verify restroom wall finishes next to water closet and urinals that comply with section 1210 of the 2003 IBC. 6. Adjust exhaust fan #1 to meet the minimum 200 CFM for a water closet, urinal, and shower head (75+75+50= 200 CFM) per table 403.3 of the 2003 IMC. 7. FYI, Outbuilding requires separate permit.
