Engitech, Inc. has completed the requested Phase I environmental site assessment on the above
referenced property. We have reviewed federal, state, county, and city records relating to this property
for any hazardous activities or contaminants that were used or stored on the property.
During the time that Baker Hughes Oilfield owned and used the property there were containers of AmBe
241 stored in sealed containers on the site. AmBe 241 is a radioactive material used in wireline logging
work. Americium (Am) has a half life of approximately 400 years. The material is as a neutron
generator in drilling for oil wells. The containers were only stored at the site. These containers were
stored in underground containers on the west side of the property. In accordance with the federal and
state regulations the containers were checked every six months for leakage. Also in accordance with
federal and state regulations the property underwent a closure process and was found to be clean by the
Texas Department of Health and released in July 2003.
A physical inspection of the property found no areas of contamination. The septic system and tanks were
located and checked. Interviews with the facility manager, Robert Hughes and Mike Dunn of the Texas
Department of Health verified the work on the closure process as well as the work that was performed at
the facility.
Based upon the information collected and reviewed, Engitech, Inc. does not recommend a Phase 11
investigation be conducted. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Enclosed for your review is an updated survey of the Baker Hughes property. In
response to your comments, I had the surveyor revise the building setbacks and add a note
regarding when the property line between the subject property and the Crown Castle property
was established. Also enclosed for your reference is a Certificate of Ownership showing the
current owners of the original 12.801 acre tract that was subdivided into five tracts by Tom
Hansen Co., together with copies of the deeds in favor of the current owners. I have requested
more legible copies of the deeds and will forward them to you when I receive them.
After you have reviewed the enclosed, please contact me to discuss what else may be
required in order to obtain a legal non - conforming use letter regarding the improvements within
the setback lines and to commence the subdivision platting process.

to the property located at 4500 Highway 6 in College Station. However, the recent request for
1,500 gpm capacity to support fire protection will require construction of additional facilities.
