SUBJECT: GAMMA PHI BETA SOROITY (REZ) — Rezoning Map
As discussed with Tom Parker this morning, because of the change in planned
residential density this PDD would create, a Comprehensive Plan Amendment is
necessary before a rezoning may be considered. The Amendment will be scheduled for
the August 5, 2004 Planning and Zoning Commission and August 26, 2004 City Council
meetings if a complete application is submitted by 5 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2004. The fees
for this application have been waived.
If the Comprehensive Plan is amended to allow the residential density needed by the
sorority and the sorority wishes to pursue PDD rezoning, there are a couple of items that
will need to be addressed. The following page is a list of staff review comments detailing
those items. Please address the comments and submit the following information for
further staff review:
One (1) copy of the additional application information and
Two (2) revised zoning maps.
If there are comments that you are not addressing, please attach a letter explaining the
details. If you have any questions or need additional information, please call me at 764-

Project: GAMMA PHI BETA SOROITY (REZ)- REZONING (04 -162)
If and when the rezoning request is ready to move forward, please submit the
following:
PLANNING
1. The application for a POD rezoning is slightly different than that for other
rezonings. The sorority's request was submitted with the incorrect
application. Please see the attached application and submit the additional
information that is needed for POD consideration (statement of purpose and
intent and proposed land uses).
2. Please identify Munson.on the rezoning map.
