I have completed my building plan review for compliance to 2006 International Codes, ANSI A117.1-2003
Accessibility Standards, 2005 NEC, and local amendments.
Please verify and provide the following:
1. Provide emergency lighting within the patio addition and emergency 'exit discharge' exterior
lighting at landing and sidewalk of emergency exit iron gate to comply with section 1006.3 of the 2006 IBC.
FYI to architect and owners for future:
If the owners plan to ever fully enclose the patio addition and make it interior conditioned space, or even want
to keep this an idea for future options without remodeling the walls, it is recommended to install insulation in
the patio walls and archways during initial construction.
Please re -submit (3) three copies of the building plans addressing the above plan review comment(s).
