Box 9960 • 1101 Texas Avenue • College Station, TX 77842 • (979) 764-3570 August 23, 2007 Mr. Don Plitt Brazos County Health Department 201 North Texas Avenue Bryan, TX 77803 Via facsimile @ 823-2275 RE: SANITARY SEWER AVAILABILITY 3250 Barron Road College Station, TX 77845 Mr. Plitt, The site referenced above lies within the limits of College Station in an area that is not currently served by an organized gravity sewer system. According to our records, the closest public sanitary sewer line is beyond the distance required for connection by ordinance, at this time. City ordinance states, "Owners of buildings coming within the terms of this subsection and located on acreage tracts shall be required to install a water closet or water closets and connect same to the sewer if the said building at its nearest point is within two hundred fifty feet (250') from the sewer." Since this site falls outside the maximum distance for connection, it will not be required to tie -into the public sewer system at this time and an OSSF is permissible. The site will be required to tie -into the public sewer should it become available. Should you have any questions or require further information, please contact me. Sincerely, /Josh Norton, E.I.T.
