The plan review is based on the 2003 International Codes, the 2002 National Electrical Code and our local amendments. Where appropriate, I have included the applicable code sections. 1. Need to provide exit discharge lighting and exit signs with emergency power to comply with sections 1006.3 and 1011.5.3 of the 2003 International Building Code. 2. Need to provide information addressing all wood wall and ceiling finishes to comply with section 803 of the International Building Code. 3. Need to provide interior signage and location information to comply with sections 703 of the ICC/ ANSI Al17.1-1998. 4. Must post maximum occupancy load sign in a permanent and visible matter to comply with the Fire Marshal's Office of the City of College Station. 5. Need to provide information in writing about the hardware on all doors and address emergency panic and fire exit hardware to comply with sections µ'w: 1008.1.8.3 and 1008.1.9 of the 2003 International Building Code. ;y 6. All decorations and trim must comply with section 805 of the International Building Code. 7. Main power service disconnect must be located on exterior of building that is accessible to comply with City of College Station electrical amendment. 8. Provide fire extinguishers per plan and any additional of size and location to comply with the Fire Marshal's Office of the City of College Station. 9. Need to add a 75 CFM exhaust fan in each restroom to comply with the International Mechanical Code. 10. Need to make the area behind each new bar accessible with a 36" minimum .: opening and to comply with ICC/ANSI Al 17.1-1998 (American National Standard Institute). The review does not include any civil or zoning issues or NRA requirements of the Unified Development Ordinance. Please respond to the plan review comments at your convenience. Three sets of plans addressing these issues will be required. Should you have any questions, contact me at 979-764-3570. Thank you, Ben McCarty Plans Examiner P.O.
