Dear Mr. Deason:
I am writing concerning your request for a partial refund of the water and sewer tap fees
for the above referenced .project. We will process a refund to the Builder, Keith Ellis, in
the amount of $485.00. This represents the difference between the "city install" fee
initially paid for both taps ($750.00) and the "contractor install' fee ($265.00).
Please be aware that a plumber will be required to provide a cleanout located at the
property line for the sewer connection. College Station Utilities is in the process of
developing a standard detail that will outline the requirements for the cleanout and
connection. For more information concerning the detail, please contact Dale Schepers at
979.764.3660.
Please allow two to three weeks for the refund to be processed. Should you have further
questions or need additional information concerning the refund, I may be reached at
