HomeMy WebLinkAboutMemoMEMORANDUM February 11, 2003 TO: Planning and Zoning Commission FROM: Spencer Thompson Email: sthompson @ci.college - station.tx.us SUBJECT: VACATING AND FINAL PLAT - ETJ RESIDENTIAL for BENTWOOD ESTATES PH 1 (FP) Item: Consideration, discussion and possible action on a Vacating and Final Plat for Bentwood Estates Phase 1 (FP), consisting of 31 lots on 76 acres in the City's ETJ. (03- 00500028) Applicant: M.L.S Development Company Staff Recommendations: Staff recommends approval as submitted. Item Summary: This item is for consideration of a Vacating and Final Plat for a residential subdivision in the City's ETJ. The subdivision is located on FM 158, Wellborn Road, across from Duck Haven Subdivision. The Vacating Plat will vacate the previous interior and exterior boundaries. The property owner has had requests for larger lots. As can be seen from the plat, several lots in Block 1 have been enlarged from the previous plat. A Summary of Changes text box has been included to address lot enumeration and reconfiguration. The Final Plat conforms to the City's Subdivision Regulations. All lots are 1 -acre or larger and will take access from newly constructed public roadway. The main entrance on Wellborn was coordinated with the Duck Haven Subdivision.
