Re: Eastmark Subdivision, Phase 2, Replat
Dear Ms. Cotter:
As you know, I represent Dennis Schachterle who is the
administrator of the estate of Kevin Gene Schachterle, Deceased.
Mr. Schachterle has filed an application to replat Lot 2, Block
"A ", Eastmark Subdivision Phase II (909 East Southwest Parkway)
in connection with the sale of a portion of this property to the
United Way of the Brazos Valley.
Assuming the replat is approved, the portion of Lot 2 which
is already developed will be sold, and the undeveloped portion of
Lot 2 (designated Lot 2B on the replat) will be retained by the
Schachterle estate for sale at a later date. In order to market
Lot 2B, my clients would like some type of written assurance that
this property meets the city's requirements for a curb cut on
Southwest Parkway. We recognize that the exact location of such
access to the street will be determined when a proposed site plan
for development of Lot 2B is submitted to your office, but for
now we request a letter from the appropriate official stating
that Lot 2B will be granted a curb cut on its Southwest Parkway
boundary line when it is developed. In other words, that access
to Lot 2B will not have to go through one of the adjacent tracts.
Thank you for your assistance. Please contact my office if
you have any questions concerning this matter.
Sincerely,
Wesley Hall

RE: Eastmark Subdivision, Phase 2 Replat
Block A, Lot 2
Driveway Request
Mr. Hall:
I am writing in response to your driveway request dated October 21, 2004. After review of your
request along with survey documents submitted with the Replat of the property, it has been determined
that a curb cut for a driveway will be allowed on Southwest Parkway. However, the driveway will still
need to be permitted. It is required that the location of the driveway be as close to the northeast
property line as possible in order to meet the City's driveway spacing requirements. The permitting of
the driveway will take place with the Site Plan review.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me at 979 - 764 -3570.
Thank you,
