JOSEPH P. SCHULTZ 6588*. I / / ''` "'' °" C1.14,11 F -12327 SCHULTZ ENGINEERING, LLC. General Information Location: Meadowcreek Subdivision, Phase 4B is located in southern Brazos County, just off Koppe Bridge Road near Wellborn. It is immediately adjacent to Phase 4A of the subdivision. General Note: There are 38 lots in Phase 4B. Land Use: Single Family Residential Design Criteria /Analysis Primary Water Supply: Existing 12" line along Koppe Bridge Road. It is connected to Phase 1 by an 8" line. The supply for Phase 4B will connect to 2 — 8" lines constructed with Phase 4A. Existing System Pressure Tests: Flow Hydrant - See Exhibit B Flowrate: 1,088 gpm Static Pressure: 80 psi Residual Pressure: 65 psi Exhibits: Exhibit A — Location Map Exhibit B — Hydrant Flow Test Results Exhibit C — Pipe and Junction Analysis — Domestic Demand Exhibit D — Pipe and Junction Analysis — Fire Flow Demand @ FH 1 Exhibit E — Pipe and Junction Analysis — Fire Flow Demand @ FH 2 Fire Flow: 1,000 gpm for Single Family Residential Domestic Use 1.5 gpm per lot for Single Family Residential The proposed 8" water lines are in accordance with the BCS Water Design Guidelines. This report provides the results of the water system analysis under the fire flow and domestic demand requirements, (1,128 gpm) which produced the lowest pressure in the system. The lowest residual pressure with the fire flow and domestic demand occurs with the fire flow at Fire Hydrant 1 and is computed to be 56.2 psi. With the domestic demand only, the residual pressure is computed to be 75.1 psi. Each of these pressures exceed the 20 psi and 35 psi minimum pressure requirements, respectively. The maximum velocity in all pipes is less than 12 fps for all scenarios. Conclusion The proposed water system for Meadowcreek Subdivision, Phase 4B meets or exceeds all of the design criteria for the City of College Station. It will provide adequate water pressure and flow for both domestic and fire demands.
