Item Background: The subject property (which is the Target Store)
is located in an existing shopping center at 2100 Texas Avenue, and
has approximately 655 -feet of frontage along Texas Avenue.

The applicant is requesting a variance to: Section 7.4. (Signs) Of the
(UDO) in order to allow the proposed attached "Target" sign, which is
being proposed to extend 5 -feet away from the building facade, this
will require a 4 -foot variance. There is also a 1- foot, 8 -inch variance
for the t r�et letters to exceed more than one foot above the top of
the . The proposed sign shows to be 2 -foot, 8- inches up

Special Conditions: Applicant did not provide any special
conditions.
Hardships: And as a hardship the applicant states, that due to
architectural elements on the building, the "Target" letters project
more than 12- inches from the building.
Alternatives: As an alternative the applicant stated that the sign can
be placed on alternative location on the wall.
