O. Box 9960 College Station, Texas 77842 Re: Second Submittal of Revised Site Plan and Landscape Drawings and Construction Drawings for Proposed United States Department of Agriculture Building Holleman Drive near Dartmouth Road; College Station, Texas Case file #04-00500093 Dear Ms. George: This letter transmits the revised site development documents outlined in your Memorandum dated April 16, 2004 for the proposed United States Department of Agriculture Office Building planned to be located on Holleman Drive, east of the intersection with Dartmouth Road in College Station, Texas. The submitted site plan package includes three separate items: (1) the revised site plan as prepared by CSC Engineering & Environmental Consultants, Inc.; (2) the landscape plan as originally prepared by the project architect, Tim Risley & Associates from Fort Smith, Arkansas (Risley) and later modified by CSC; and (3) one complete set of the site development construction documents prepared by CSC. A listing of the construction drawings is presented in the accompanying Table 1. Since the proposed project is located in the Wolf Pen Creek District, we have also submitted a Design District Building & Sign Review Application. A $200 Special District Application Fee accompanies the Application. Included with the Design District Building & Sign Review Application are ten (10) folded copies of the building elevation with detailing of the proposed facade of the planned office building as prepared by Risley, as well as color and material samples of the proposed fagade. Finally, ten 8 '/2-inch by 11 inch color renderings of the proposed exterior freestanding sign as prepared by Risley are also submitted for your consideration. The submitted site plan and landscape plan have been revised to address the comments of the City of College Station staff as outlined in the previously referenced Memorandum. The staff comments were designated as "Staff Review Comments No. 1" and are summarized in Table 2 along with a description of how the responses to the comments were integrated into the previously submitted site plan and landscape plan. The presently submitted construction drawings also reflect the changes discussed for the site plan and the landscape plan. The requested blanket easement for the project will be transmitted separately by Mr. Chris Curtis who represents the developer, Curtis Investments-College Station, LLC. 3407 Tabor Road Phone (979) 778-2810 Bryan, Texas 77808 Fax (979) 778-0820 Re-submittal of Revised Site and Landscape Plans and Submittal of Construction Drawings Submittal No. 2 Based Upon Staff Review comments No. 1 Proposed United States Department of Agriculture Office Building; College Station, Texas Page 2 Table 1.
