I wanted to address the issues you had brought to our attention in an effort to avoid complications with obtaining CO's for the homes we have closing soon. 1. Detention pond slopes: You should be recieving a copy of a drawing from Len Adams at MDG, the engineer for the project, showing the proposed remedy. We intend to install this retaining wall and complete the grading with a 3:1 slope as required as soon as we have your concurrence. 2. Grading to allow drainage to enter the existing curb inlet at Krenek Tap: We plan on configuring our drives and surrounding grade to allow exisiting drainage patterns to the inlet to remain. 3. Grading at uphill side of detention pond: We intend to grade at this location to allow uphill water that will not reach the streets to reach the detention pond . 4. Erosion control measures: StyleCraft has been actively maintaining control around inlets and removing silt from street gutters as it accumulates. We have originated an erosion control plan and have made arrangements for the remaining measures (silt fencing) to begin no later than 7/19/04. I hope this has adequately addressed the items. If not, please contact me immediately. I will await your concurrence regarding the detention pond before proceeding. Please allow this correspondence to act as our guarantee to remedy the items noted, allowing Certificates of Occupancy to be issued as homes are completed and inspections finalized. We propose to accomplish this by a Vacating Plat with a new Final Plat. We will prominently note that the only difference is to make the PUE's 15'. Please call me if my understanding is incorrect.
